Frame Tents
Frame tents are advantageous for applications that require the maximum usage of space under the tent top. The tent top is secured to a tent frame, which is erected and supported by frame legs around the perimeter eliminating the need for center poles. Popular applications for outdoor frame tents include, but are not limited to, weddings, trade show exhibits, graduations, parties and many other events, which may require a party tent.

Frame Tents vs. Canopy Tents
Frame Tents are a much more durable and stronger tent. The frame tent uses a system of aluminum poles to form a freestanding structure. This frame eliminates the need for center poles, leaving more room underneath the tent. While frame tents need to be anchored, they do not need to be staked into the ground. They can be set up on asphalt, concrete, patios, over pools, decks, etc. Different forms of weight can be used to secure a frame tent. They also hold up to higher amounts of wind. The stronger frame structure allows you to have sidewalls installed on the tent also.
A Canopy Tent is much more lightweight than the frame tent. The canopy is not as sturdy or durable as a frame tent. While the canopy can provide you with shelter from the sun and rain, they are generally made of a lighter vinyl material and the poles are a thinner lightweight PVC pole as opposed to the aluminum used for the frame tent. Canopy tents cannot support sidewalls and must be staked into the ground at each pole. The canopy tent also has a center pole, which gives you less space under tent. Canopy tents can only go on grass or dirt.
